Sheffield Village Park

An obscure park far in the southeast corner of Oakland, south of the zoo. And there was this cute little park set among a community of bungalows. This park had a feature I’ve never seen before; there were many toys just sitting out for kids to come by and play with. We had to add our fairy house and furniture to the mix. There was even a basketball with air in it sitting on the court by itself. It’s probably been 20 years since I’ve shot a basketball. I’m afraid my first attempts were pretty feeble but finally I got one to go in. Melissa did well when she tried.
