Leona Heights - 2nd Visit
Recently we found ourselves back at Leona Heights Park in the Oakland hills. Hiking up the trail from the bottom of the park, we came upon the spot where we placed a fairy house recently. We were excited that not only was the house still there, but someone had added a little fairy doll to the scene. The Day of the Dead altar was still there as well. We added some more furniture to it as we passed by.
Then it was time to head further up the trail in search of another perfect fairy hiding place. We found it in the form of a tree that had fallen over, creating an arch above our heads. In pulling out, its roots had formed many nooks and crannies up the slope from us. I clambered up to set out our latest house and other goodies.
