William D Wood Park

This is a different kind of park for us, no playground anywhere. What it does have is a nice big field where dogs and humans can run around and have a good time. We found a lovely spot under a palm tree where the fairies can run around themselves. That’s where we erected their latest home. On our way back to the car, we discovered a sign in front of one house which expressed some important sentiments.

The park has an interesting history: William_D._Wood_Park

The land there was subject to repeated slides which destroyed several houses. The affected area was turned into a park with contributions from the William D. Wood estate.
