Snow Park
Melissa and I have now been to Snow Park twice in the past two weeks. This is a cute little space right by Lake Merritt in downtown Oakland. Newly renovated in 2019, it sports a gorgeous play area for kids. And right beside the play area, we found a nice bush begging for some fairy furniture and even a house. We left one house and a piano on our first visit. Then when we returned ten days later, we found the house had been picked up but the furniture remained. So we added a second house to the scene under the shrubbery. Along with a plaque inviting kids to play with everything.
Then as we were leaving, right at the entrance to the park, we just had to stop and place a table and chair on the column holding the park sign. We walked across the street and looking back, we saw a man stop at the column and pick up both pieces of furniture. He thought for a second and then put one of them back. That’s the first time we’ve seen someone find our gifts.
