Foothill Meadows Extension
We visited another of Oakland’s mini-parks, this one named the Foothill Meadows Extension in East Oakland. Now in general, I have found all Oakland parks to be beautiful and fun, with the rare exception having a bothersome wrinkle or two. But this park could really use some freshening up and for sure some plantings. We searched and searched for a spot where the fairies might hang out but the pickings were slim. Finally, we set the fairy house under the slide.
